Below are excerpts of letters Barbara wrote to her high school English teacher who became an attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. That attorney was instrumental in helping her find Marky's care and treatment at a time when home healthcare services were practically nonexistent. Pictures of Marky are seen here and Barbara was able to get assistance for his care until August of 1971. He was nearly ten years old.
